My Evening Rides
There are a few of us in this world who are fortunate enough to live in an area that others have to travel for miles and/or days to visit. Those who live in the Colorado Rockies, along the California coast, just about anywhere in Southern Utah, the European Alps, etc. Almost anywhere in Alaska qualifies as well. From the small town where I reside it is possible to ride in four general directions, with a mountain pass to cross over in each of them. So it's not surprising that there is abundant scenery within a few hours riding time in the surrounding countryside. With these photos I'll try to present some of what I have enjoyed viewing over the past few years since I first began using a digital camera. Just about all of these have been taken on rides in the late afternoon or evening, on a therapeutic ride after a busy day.
A start today, with more to be added as I go through the archives and get in more riding this summer. I live smack dab in the middle of The Great Smokey Mountains and am right there with ya! I love going out for rides after work and enjoying the scenery and roads other folks plan for months/years to get to come see. I am very fortunate as are you and will never take that for granted.

For a GEEZER and FROZEN FOSSIL your doing pretty good with that camera. Shame you don't have scenery as pretty as Homer.
