Don't skip the NC Outer Banks area once you reach south eastern VA. It is worth the time & gas money to see if you have never been. You can take any number of highways from the NC coast to get back to I-85 and home.

I'm subscribed. Hang in there Ken and safe travels. Sure enjoyed meeting you and riding on the day rides we did last summer.
Marketing right? I'll keep my eyes and ears open. It is a sucky time to be looking for a job. Best wishes. The Bandit looks good as always. Love the tires. That means you can do some DS FS road rides with us D.O.G.S. when you get back to N GA. MB

I'm subscribed. I'm planning to do almost the exact same route, but I'm coninuting up to Woodstock Canada. I thought Woodstock, GA to Woodstock, Canada had a nice ring to it.
I'll be watching this report for info on places, roads etc. I will tell you that the Blue Ridge Pkwy is closed in various sections. You'll need to plan some detours. I was up in Asheville/Little Switzerland area two weeks ago.... Good luck mate! Matt.

Is The Dragon Open?
Not too long ago, the Dragon was closed just north of the curves near the lake. I'd double check, or just ride it and see, then if closed, you get to ride it again right away
Enjoy. Charles

I was down that way a week or so ago and Deals Gap was open and there were two detours at the south end of the BRP...and they were a cinch to navigate around. Gruney1...Still don't know what those tires are? Cheers...S

Yee-haw. That's the spirit! When life hands you lemons, make lemonade! I'm taking my 2001 B12 S on a 4600 mile, 16 day trek in June, so I interested on hearing how it goes with you.
Also, add me to the list of enquiring minds curious about those tires. |
