Wow thats incredible, i ride past this blokes place every day and didn't realise what was going on under my nose.
Theres a decent tax return burning a hole in my pocket, any idaes on how to get in contact with paul and see what sort of time an cost is involved. Abvuilously he'd be run off his feet and his wouldn't be cheap, but i think i'd be stupid not to ask.

I know Paul pretty good - stayd over there a few times and he and his misses are just lovely as Aussies can be.
Got his address and ph number - I would if I where you just drop by and take a look at his work.
If you want his number, just PM me.

Somewhere in Mongolia...
Awesome stuff.

And a credit to the soundness of the design.

+100

It is going well, and Thanks Bootlace for the link.

I have a WP 50mm extreme front end here I need to get up to Paul

Another bike leaving Paul's workshop

Note: Paul has a great design where the collector is also the muffler and is located under the gearbox.

Wow. Much respect due to Mr. Rooney!

*edit: only just noticed that the "Race-Frame"d bike has the special muffler also. Wonder how it fared during the river crossings?

I want to ride those, really badly. I mean I want to ride them a lot. To say that I would ride them really badly is a given

Well I have officially placed my order with Paul for a Box section Frame

I have a complete 50mm WP Extreme Front end.
Ohlins twin shocks off an old Husky 510, I will run twin shock back end.
I have a 43lt HPN Tank, new in the roof of my shed.
KTM 620 rear subframe and seat (?) Maybe.
Enough bits to build a complete bike.

It wont be until well after Christmas, I cannot wait!!!!

In lieu of one of these frames of my own, does anyone know if Paul still produces the gussets for the standard frame?

I may have to call the man sometime soon.
