Here is what one of the Eyjafjallajokull glaciers look like before the eruption in '06.

And yes the glacier donated a piece of itself for our refreshments.

Hello from Iceland.
I have been reading your travel tale and did like it and im glad you did enjoy ISLAND.

i would like to ad to your statements and maybe clear up some minor details so you ca enjoy your photos more.

The Stone man in Vestfjörðum is missing his sword it been broken.
Its the pass over Dynjandaheiði.
The workermade the road in 1959 and in there spare time made this sculpture to commerorate a farmer that had done work on road

The statue near Geysir.

Its of GLIMA a Icelandic local sport close to olympic resling it has been used for hundreds of years to resolve issues : )

Once again i had fun reading your adventure and i hope we see you back here soon.
