Thanks to everyone for all the positive feedback on the report. Most the ideas for my rides come from what I have read of others doing on this site. It is a nice thing to share a ride with you all.

Thanks for the pictures. Good memories

I lived in Canaan Valley about 12 years ago for 10 years. Never got tired of it. People are great and every road/trail is very scenic. I owned an excavation company and worked at one of the ski areas in the winter. Unfortunately, all my money was in bulldozers and it was the only time since I was 14 that I didn't have a bike.

Great ride report Chuck. I just wish I could have been with you, even though I'd have been in the same boat with the Scorps off-road capabilities!

Talk to you soon.

Man Chasbo Dude

Thanks so much for the 10 minute vacation. One can never underestimate what a good ride can do for your sanity. Even reading about a trip like this can take the edge off. Excellent photos, and good idea leaving the bear alone. Thanks Chasbo

Thanks for taking the time to read the report Chorizo and for the kind words. That is how I feel when I read other peoples ride reports.

I have really been missing the area you live in lately. I grew up in Petaluma CA and spent a lot of time up and down the coast.
