It's a push/pull throttle with only the pull cable. Maybe that's part of the reason it doesn't want to idle. But it's runnin'!!!

Maybe I applied it wrong or something
But I would try to find another solution
I wish I had known that before I did my rd tank Maybe I'll get some good years out of it

Missed it by this much. Congrats Brent. After ten years of sitting don't forget the clean out/rebuild the break system. I think I would just put some cafe bars on it and leave it alone. It sure is in nice shape. Ben

with a stock Honda THAT clean(which is rare these days) I would keep it stock and show up to classic bike rallys and watch the jaws drop!

Brent, that thing purrs!!! and FIRST KICK!!!
btw, you don't 'need' the push cable. I rode my '77 550 with just the pull and never had issues. I think it was Honda's safety measure if the pull got stuck.

Cheap way to fix up a old tank

Looking great so far

POR-15 is also a good tank liner. pour it in, swish it around and you'll have a good thick impervious coating.

So do they, after they dump the bitch, they'll dump the bitch. If they survive that is.

it doesn't advertise the message they think it does

I think it's 'sposed to be "look how cool I am" for they guys and "look how hot I am" for the girls. but to me I hear "look what a stupid self-involved uncaring prick I am, and here's my not-quite-as-good-looking-as-she-thinks-she is stuck-up girlfriend who's too stupid to do better"

I do like looking at their asses though, I'm a little conflicted about it. I have a bit more respect for the guys who wear a wife beater or a
T shirt, but the guys lane splitting and riding like asses wearing armor with a girl on the back seriously piss me off, I treated my dog better.

I'm with you on this one. That dude is definitely scary looking, but with a trusting face.

Where did you say you are riding next?
