Nope. If Javi can ride one, so can I. The key is, never stop and avoid having to put your feet down. Besides, mentally, I'm ten feet tall.

Hey guys, I've got a question. When you go to do a roadside tire/tube repair, how exactly do you get the wheels off? My bike is in my garage, but I don't have a lift or a motorcycle jack or anything. My plan was to just remove the tank, then lay her on her side. This seems like it will work fine, but adjusting the chain when putting the rear back on could be a bit annoying, what with having to flop the bike onto the other side and back. Is this simply how it's done? Am I overlooking a really easy method?

You're doing it the hard way. Get an http://www.endurostar.com/ trail stand.

Awesome. I knew something like this existed, I just didn't know where to look.

edit: so looking over the page, it seems like exactly what I need, but I still can't figure out in my head exactly how you get the bike up on the thing. Am I supposed to physically lift the bike and position the trail stand? That doesn't seem right... or do you just sort of position it, then pivot the bike on the side stand?

ah, ok I get it now. Seems quite simple. I wasn't taking the front brake strap into account. Can't wait to get my trailstand in the mail now.
