  5. Because the cars run and can be driven
Did I get them all?

he's never been to L.A.

all neighborhoods, good or bad have tons of cars on the street.

I'd like to stay under 1200 a month, but if 1500 puts me in a nicer area, it's doable. How is Gardena? There's a nice looking apartment there for a good price and it's about a mile from where I'll be working.

Hmm, maybe I'll stay away from Gardena then. I'll definitely look at Venice and Hermosa beach. Thanks for the tips.

Gardena can be ok. Stay south of Redondo Beach Blvd & west of Normandie. From here keep working south and west toward Torrance and you'll be ok. Being a youngster, you are gunna like the beach life a bit better. Redondo, Hermosa and Manhattan are all good choices. Most of Torrance is pretty nice. But look out south of Sepulveda & east of Western, it gets rough over there!

I would also check out Belmont Shore in LB. Unless you need to go to work or ride, no reason to ever get on the bike or in the car because everything is in walking distance, including about 25 restaurants and bars.. You can still get a really nice one bedroom down there for about $1000/mth.

Ha ha...I had that vid-embed string on my clipboard and logged in to post it for you FF's.

It's pretty darn funny. I wonder if the bike landed in the water. WTF was he doing? He must have clipped the pannier.
