my truck took a major shit last week and with my new commute I really needed a car..something that would at least get better than my trucks 15mpg highway. So I spent days looking at pile after pile of shit with what little cash I had. Untill I found this ride.

'90 Cressida ,DOHC 3.0 inline six, rear wheel drive, 4 wheel independent suspension and 4 wheel disc..very similar to supra under the 4 door skin..now I just need to find me a supra twin turbo set up and get this thing flying
But it drives better on the freeway then my wifes '08 Corolla. and right now looks like i am getting about 24mpg..not too bad for a 23 year old inline six.

Sweet ride. Is its stick shift? I get about 29mpg in my 09 Camry with stick shift. I wish it was rear drive as well.

that is the first thing it is getting..it has 130k on it with a recent major service new timing belts, water pump etc. the paint is pretty good a metallic white color except the front bumper has chips from the corners hitting shit and a bad touch up

If i keep it under 3,000rpm and cruise at 65 i bet it could pull around 26
I wish it was a stick they only came auto..but a lot of guys mod it with the supra manual tranny..the auto in it has a pretty cool sport button that will hold a gear till about 5,500 rpm before it up shifts. it gets scooting pretty quick in sport mode.

I ran across an interesting thread. How to power a Spot with a USB socket. I am waiting to read some more, but this may be the cure for buying butt loads of Li batteries!

to charge it at night?

cuz i don't know why you'd want to have a cord hanging off your SPOT.
