Earlier today- about 12 miles outside of Idaho Falls. He was on his bike and traffic was stuck due to construction so he did a U turn and he was hit. His leg got smashed between his engine tank and a Chevy Silverado.
Only spoke to him briefly, morphine was kicking in and I wasn't able to get all the details other than he was going into surgery and his Tibia and Fibula where very broken. For those of you who don't know Guy, he is an avid sportsman who loves to cave, hike and ski in addition to his great passion for riding. He makes his living being on his feet all day. Bummer.
Hope he's back on his feet soon. This may help him get moving around sooner than with crutches. iwalkfree A fellow dirtbiker from Ontario, Canada came up with the idea of this device. I know a few people who have used one. Good luck,heal fast.
