Hi there, The fairing eliminated chest drag and was pretty good with wind noise until I bought an XD3 Arai helmet which seems to collect a bit more wind drag that the other helmets I have used. I'm about 1.83m tall (6ft 1inch). I do like the arai so may have to come up with a clip on to deflect some of the extra turbulance . but its not too bad and i always wear earplugs

Adventure / Rallye Light Setup

Hi all,

because I use my Enduro 690 R as a real Dual Sport bike On- and Offroad, I want to keep it as much stock as possible. And I want to keep it as light as possible.

My plan is to add a Roadbook holder and my TomTom in Front high up.

I did a lot of web searches and found that:
The original KTM Powerpart Roadbook frame holder. This is that thing. I'm sure, it will fit perfect, but installed, it looks terrible (my opinion).

Then, there is a system from the same kind from Rally Raid Products and / or Edmondson Racing. It might be more stabil. I don't know. There is nothing on the official web pages about material thickness. And they don't show pictures how it looks installed on the bike.

An other system is the Handle bar mounted system by Rallymanagementservices.com. Stable, not bad. Looks mounted on the bike like that:

The next thing I found is my favorite: It's from Meca Systems.

It's called KTM 08 - Light Holder (Instrument Support) KR132. It is the most expensive Rallye Light Setup system (251,-) I found, but I think it's worth it's price (and they are answering e-mails).

Has some of You experience with that? Any ideas and comments are welcome.

I know a lot of people are using these already but just want to say I'm very impressed with the quality of this item.

Hopefully know more smashed clutch units
