I guess I'm gonna have to go get it. I needa biscuit this morning anyways and some milk.

I really would have thought some one would have gotten it by now. I even waited this long so a new player could have a shot at it.

I've been out of town. Up near the Northwest territories of Cananda! Unfortunately, not on the bike though. Stayed a couple of nights in Ft. Nelson on the Alaska highway. Saw lots of people on Harley's and a fair amount of GS's riding up the legendary road. They were all completely covered in crickets. Apparently the crickets swarm up there this time of year. Yeee-uck. Gorgeous weather though and jealous of everyone I saw on any and all motorcycles. Even the asian kids in Vancouver on mopeds! Absolutely gorgeous country up there.

Yes, I most certainly looked into it. Canada, British Columbia in particular, was very expensive. Way more than I thought and from what I gathered from locals was a direct result of the Olympics which jacked everything up by 15% and also from a new form of tax up there called HST, which added another 7% on July 1st. I'm talking about a shitty plate of spaghetti in a shitty restaurant costing $18 Canadian, which is about 1 for 1 to the US dollar. To rent a 1200gs was $60/hour or I could have gotten a V-Strom for $40/hr. :( Plus I didn't pack any riding gear with me as the bulk of the time was spent far out in the wilderness with only a short wave radio to call back to civilization.

The hotel we stayed at in Victoria BC listed "Free BMW bike rentals". Julie and I thought no way, but holy crap if so.... HOT DAMN!

We went down to the front desk and asked about it and sure enough, for card carrying members of the Fairmont Hotel chain, you got FREE BMW bike rentals.

Did you all know that BMW makes bicycles?

They had a unique spoke pattern on the wheels and the little BMW roundel on the handle bars and on the frame. Julie and I were both laughing. So, of course, we pedaled all around the town of Victoria on our Beemers!

This is the one I rode. It's a "mountain bike" type of bike.

New Clue: If driving south, you would go past Disney to get to the flag.

Yup, I looked and looked and couldn't find it. I must need to get out more. Last night was good weather too, considering it's July, to go get the tag.
