New Tag: no clues since it's rather obvious. Although a fun ride to grab.

Anyone on their way to this tag? We could meet and do the 215/281 loop.

Ridingman I know you like to ride early mornings, are you out in the tag area?

Let me know

Congrabulations! Excellent day to be out getting some seat time!

Did you shoot up 215 to the parkway and take it over to 276 or hit 64 over to Brevard? Parkway was closed the last time I went up that far

That'll get the job done, fer sure. But don't forget that this road is a lot more fun!

I wound up riding out that good road, over to that great road and then coming back down that sweet road into Seneca and back home on 123, so that tag is safe from me. For now.

Where East Fork follows the river, it's great. Lots of spots for taking pictures. Careful when you come up to any one of the 3 bridges. They have a serious 90* turn as soon as you cross them (if you're headed west to east) so get on the brake and get down to 25 or so mph when you come up on them. Great stretch of pavement!

Just got the message. I ended up riding the 1150 GS up to Marion via the Assault on Mt Mitchell route, then up highway 80 to the still closed blue ridge parkway. Turned around and rode back through Old Fort to Hendersonville and back through Gville. The 1150GS checked out fine. I ran a full tank-o-gas through her.
Maybe next weekend??

On the backside of Cesar's Head. Road is on the right @ the state line. The camp is about 5 miles down the road. This overlook is about 3 miles.
