crf230f owners unite! post mods and pics here!

Im waiting impatiently for my new crf 230 and 100 to arrive. I want to see peoples mods/and whatnot for their bike. this one will be more of a woods weapon than an adv bike, but the wife will be riding it too so I may have a adv setup i can bolt on at times....

I love my crf230f, here she is in Baja. We did 2 weeks off the bike, about 1500 miles.

I'm 5ft tall so the only mods are a Kouba lowering link and cut down seat.

I just got a KTM and my husband wants me to sell the CRF. But I am too attached and can't bring myself to part with her.

Don't forget to post the pic of your custom side panel spacer. I think that counts as a "mod".

Modify the baffle, remove the snorkel, get a carb kit, & you can easily have this kind of fun.

I've had mine since '05. Still completely stock and tons of fun in the really tight technical and twisty. Hopefully this year she gets a complete Reger suspension, DS'd, and maybe a 251cc kit... maybe.

cool,

thanks...I have a plan for my buildup. depending on if the wife will ride alot or not, if she really likes riding, then it will be setup using most of the turbo city stuff...and i will just use it for trail riding with my son.

If she's not tore up on riding it, it will be built like a bush weapon, sorta like above and stay that way...

either way there will be a big bore, cams, rev box, new carb, exhaust and a shat load of other stuff on it.

I never had a chance to bb my KLR this winter. so, thats being done this winter as well...705cc...

No one has posted here in a while. I'll bump her up. I bought a used '05 CRF230F last year for my wife and I fell in love with it, so I bought one for myself.

Here's my virgin '09 CRF230F ready for this season:
