Here are a couple of pix from the Gladney Family Cemetery from when I grabbed caycek5's tag of it last summer in the SCTOR game:






I found the same National Register info that Rvrhwki did when looking for the "Old Stone House" tag. It has a few more interesting details on its construction that he didn't quote above. And here's another interesting site about the Gladney family.

Well Crapsticks Thanks to everyone for the info on the area. I have a daughter in Lexington so this a great excuse to intrude on her more often. The history around this newly adopted state of mine is amazing.

Not many people realize that much of the Revolutionary war was fought in SC. One historian estimates there were over 200 separate engagements fought! Some of those were very small of course, but there are many other well-known sites like Ninety-Six, Camden, and Cowpens.

I stuck a 40$ unit in a pelican case and mounted up on a ram- cheap and effective
