Grab !
A quick lunch-time grab.
![]() Wateree River mural painted on the side of Brent's Taxidery shop on Hwy 521 just south of Camden. While I was there, I met Brent and his son. Colt, who owns Signs by Colt. Colt and his dad painted this one and many others to boot. Thanks for the chanllenge gimpy. I found a picture of the mural, but had to search quite a while before I got a location. Brent's Taxidermy lead me to Signs by Colt and then I had it. Stay tuned for a new tag. Rice ---

???????????????????????
Hey Gimpy. I know you are having way too much fun playing the tag game, but don't you think you are a a little mixed up on this one? The Spring Made Line tag is in the State game, not the Midlands game. Better post it on the State forum and nuke this one. Maybe trying to keep up with me has you a little winded. All kidding aside, it's great to have such good competition. Tag on ! Rice ---

I had a great ride in this area a year or so ago but don't remember seeing this. Sounds like a good excuse to return, and a good challenge since Google won't lead you right to this one. My, it's pretty out today!

I had a nice ride in what I thought was the right area but didn't find it, so the tag is still up for grabs.

Grab
Well, when I pulled into the garage on Barney (350) yesterday after a fun but unsuccessful tagging excursion, Sasquat (650) snickered at him and said, "Bro, I could have taken her straight to the tag." So today I gave 'Squat the chance to prove it, and he delivered!
![]() It's at Campbell Pond on Campbell Creek Road in Manchester State Forest near Wedgefield. ![]() I didn't go far enough North when I was there yesterday. Here's a pic from yesterday: ![]() I found some fun "new-to-me" roads in there today, and one that I really liked that headed North all the way up to Hwy 378 (Foxville Rd). I was giggling on that one as it headed closer over to the swamp and was real hilly, and it occurred to me that I was finally getting to ride the "high hills of the Santee." The perimeter roads in Manchester are fine for street bikes for the most part, but be careful on some of the East-West cross roads (deep sand). Thanks, gimpy9195 for getting me out of the house for two awesome days of riding!
