F800GS on Single Track Forest Trails in Texas, a Reverse Helmet Cam Video :)

Hi guys! My friends and I went out riding last week and they had a helmet cam with them. My good buddy Chris (child) edited the video to create a 10 min sequence of me piloting my F800GS through the tight forest single track in Texas at the Bulcher Red River Off Road Park.

All sort of stuff happens including navigating huge ruts, washed out areas, sand, and the occasional resting BMW.

Please note I have little experience with this terrain but I am getting better!!! We had been riding at least 2 hours before this was shot so I was exhausted! I am happy to have gotten through the trails and it was a great learning experience. The more I go with my friends out here the more I feel confident to tackle any road out there!

I'm sure Chris will post some more videos and pictures in a ride report but I wanted to share this with you guys! Enjoy.

Nice video.
Those trails look really cool too, perfect for a bigger bike.

Since when is single track quad width? :P I guess it takes a while for you 800 guys to remember you're missing the horizontal jugs haha.

Resting BMW? I think it was a full fledged nap :P :P :P

I love that I ran over to your bike and picked your camera out of your tank bag instead of helping you pick it up strait away :P

What are friends for, eh?

Am I even allowed to post here? I doubt my credit score will hold up to zee Motorrad standards.

Nice trails and nice video.

I'm glad your friend didn't put music over the video. I like hearing the sound of the engines.

Don't you just love dual sporting...

Thanks for sharing.

God Bless,
David

Nice! I can't believe how deep those trails are. I bet they are fun in the rain.

Thumb Great Video!

Thanks for sharing the video with us. Wish I had a place that nice to ride here in Iowa. I would think it is a perfect way to watch your skills improve.

Haha, thanks everyone who commented!!!

Even though there were seemingly infinite trails going anywhere you could imagine, everything from honda civic to trials bike only... I never once thought "trail or no trail?". This place is awesome because it is so worn in there is a clear line from the years of traffic. This in no way means it is easier... many of the trails are sandy, rutted, and washed out from heavy rains. It gives a whole new meaning to "riding in the groove"!!
