Gas in Southeast Utah?????

Those of you familiar with Southeast Utah, can you give me some info about the location and availability of filling stations.....

We will dive into the back country outside of Monticello and will be going west. As I look at the map, here are the list of little towns.....and I am wondering if gas is available...

Hite, UT
Torrey, UT
Boulder, UT
Ticaboo, UT
Bullfrog, UT
Halls Crossing, UT
Fry Canyon, UT

Also, does anyone know when the ferry runs between Bullfrog and Halls Crossing each day?

Thanks in advance for any information you can provide.

I can help you out a little bit......Hite, Ticaboo, Bullfrog, and Halls Crossing all have gas, althouhg it may be pay at the pump only. I know the ferry runs about twice a day, but Im not sure on the times. There is probably a schedule online somewhere.

Awesome info....THANKS!!!!

That just took down my anxiety level a bit. My last trip, I counted on having gas at a small town and too my surprise.....there was NONE!!! I had to beg some gas off of a cowboy in a pickup truck.

Also, thanks for the link to the ferry.

Moab....here we come, tomorrow!

The gas at Hite is at the marina about 1.5 miles from the main hiway.

There is also gas at Big Water (1 mile east of town) and Escalante if you are headed down the Smokey Mountain trail.
