No, not a croc, in fact we never saw any. But if the fishermen won't go in the water you can bet your ass they are there.

These Zambians are the most helpful lot ever. Except for the Lukusuzi river, no one ever indicated that they expected payment.
But if a grown man wades a river, pushing your bike, and works up a sweat getting it up the bank, it is just the decent thing to do to offer a couple of bucks in thanks.
