Did you wear through the jacket or was this done with a regular shirt? I hope my jacket can prevent this type of thing, but I realy dont know how well the textile jackets work in real life. Just asking, not accusing. If you ride naked, it's fine with me. I'm asking about the jacket.

There was NO jacket there....I guarantee that.

Well....you get what comes to you riding without gear. Sucks, but its the chance you take.

Textile jackets

Sorry for your experience, glad your alive, thanks for sharing.

The textile jackets work. They work best with pants that attach IMHO.
I got run down from behind. Me dead stopped, Honda accord at 30MPH
never touched the brakes. Texting I think. Driver stated to officer that she glanced down for a second to do something. Whatever that was.
Altough I did not get slid around too far, I got slam bounced pretty good
Nothing broken, minimal skin scuffing, major bruising, nothing internal. All just strains & sprains. I usually watch my siz pretty good, I just was not watching that day, at that moment, and got caught.

Without the gear, ooooooooooooooooo yech, ida been suffed up bad. I know for sure the armour in the elbows save me from a broken arm as well.
6 weeks of PT and ultra sound to the shoulder & neck, all healed up AOK.

I hope it ground the idiot right out of you.

Now heal fast and wear your fucking gear.

Still wondering why some guys are riding around covered head-to-toe in gear, even in the heat? Glad you were not hurt worse!

The real tragedy is that the hair might not grow on your back anymore because of the scars.
