Help Support 8x Justin Imhof! (x1 D37 Champion)

Justin is our very close friend and also works for Chris in our shop.

Chris and I went to see Justin on Friday morning. He is now at a very nice place - it's very cozy and comfy and he has his own room and all his own things in there. It is such a nice change from a regular hospital. Justin recognized Chris right away. He answered every question by shaking his head yes or no or by using hand gestures. He looks great and was alert and awake the whole time we were there. They have him doing therapy several times a day/6 days a week. They had just started his speech therapy and the nurse told us that he's very weak from laying down for so long (that would be the same with any of us). When you don't use your neck muscles much, your neck becomes very weak and so does your voice. He has made so much progress in a short amount of time. He still needs lots of rest and needs to be able to concentrate on one thing at a time. He'll get there for sure!! This is a slow process and everyone needs to be aware of this. It's not like in the movies where one day you just wake up and jump out of bed.

Please keep Justin and his family in your prayers!

Thanks for letting us know about the latest developments, Patty.

Of course, we're aware of Justin's situation, there's 2 threads about this tragedy:

Justin Imhof - A Bright Young Star's Horrible Crash

Justin Imhof fund raiser this Saturday

I guess another hint doesn't hurt. All the best to the Blais and Imhof families for the holidays.
