 Hate to hear that your not going to RMAR this year! I think Grub was expecting you to be there... He got a cabin this time. I guess the TAT is out also? Anyway, diving with Dawn sounds like a lot of fun. See you guys in May.

Ok. Planning my 2012 trip.
I bought a Harley a few months ago. This time, I'm gonna tow the DR out to Colorado behind the Harley. Stay tuned....

It turns out that, while I can easily get a trailer hitch for the Harley, the hitch pretty much just attaches to the rear fender rather than the frame of the bike like the ST1300 did. While that would be fine for a couple hundred pounds, I just don't trust it for my 500+ pounds bike/trailer combo.

I do. Ride the Harley out there and meet up with a couple of friends in Memphis.
From there, we will ride by day and act silly at night. Once out west, I will do all kinds of twisty paved roads by day and act silly at night. Repeat, etc, etc.
