I would sure like to do this trail but don't have any idea how to download it to a gps, is there anyone out there that could tutor me. Or if someone wants to ride all or some with another person I am game. I live north of chattanooga, am retired and can go anytime. I ride a Kawasaki super sherpa. Thanks

I'll give it my best. Sorry so late on the response, I was on the river with the grandkids this weekend.

Email me the make/model of your gps, and any software that you have that may interface with it. PC or MAC? Let's start there.

Quick .. question .. Is most of this big Bike (Vstrom, Super Tenere, KTM 990, GS) friendly?

For the most part, you can expect the same difficulty per colored track anywhere on the TET, TWVT, or OTC that you go. The TETS is a little different, that's the biggest reason the files are published separately.

So, yes, it is big bike friendly anywhere you go GREEN on anything but the TETS. Mother nature can, of course, change the baseline a bit any where you go.

I quote myself from the TET thread.

The wife and I have run from Southern WV to the Canadian border in one setting. A few, have run from Jerz, or there about, to Jellico. I have run from Southern WV to Missouri. Several have looped WV using the TWVT and TET.

RR links is something I am delinquent in posting. Copy and paste these to a google search:

site:advrider.com twvt

site:advrider.com tet

site:advrider.com tets

You'll get a flavor from that. A general search in google of the TWVT will give a reasonable result, the others are just too generic of terms.
A lot of the reports exist in blogs and on other forums. But, typically there is some link here on ADV.

Ride reports

I apologize for not having written one... I was in GA in late March for 5 days making revisions on the north GA portions and along the GA/SC border.

That's also when I added the extension to Savanna.

Then, the first 8 days of April, BlueLightening and I rode the whole loop around Georgia - TET-S on the west and north sides, SouthernLoop on the east and south sides. We also added the extensions to Tellico Plains, TN.

For that loop (also riding the extension to Tellico Plains) I covered right at 2000 miles.

Dan and I had both talked about writing ride reports, but didn't get around to it.

There is a recent ride report of a father/son riding the TAT where they started in Savanna and rode this route up to Tellico Plains... so they have some of it.

I guess I need to work harder on promoting this route.....
