Anybody have coordinates for the 7-11? Might be better to meet you in Rowher. Not sure.

Found it!!

ManGina?

I love the night rides so I'm in. DSM8 is going to meet me at my house in Monrovia at 4:00 if anyone wants to meet up with us. (PM me for the address). We will not be going all the way to Gorman, After dinner at the Rock Inn we will be heading back to LA/Pasadena area around 12/1:am. (dirt or street depending on what the group wants and the time).

If you have never done a night ride you should really give it a go, it's a lot of fun. The cooler temp also makes it very enjoyable. The trails are not hard mostly fire roads with off shoots for those that want a little challenge. I would consider this a very noob friendly ride. The night factor just make if a little more challenging. Come on out! you know you have been waiting for reason to justify spending all that $$ on Light upgrades!

This month the full moon falls on Saturday . We will meet at 7-11, Osborne and Foothill 5:00pm.We'll make our way to Rowher Flats via little t, Sand Cyn,Sierra Hwy. We'll ride thru Rowher on fire roads and make our way to the Oaks lodge on Bouqet Rd for some . From there we'll make our way over to Green Valley via Spunky Cyn and fire road it to Lake Hughs. Plan to have dinner at the Rock Inn in Lake Hughs. We'll decide our return trip at the Rock Inn . This will be big bike friendly and small bike exciting. So who's in?[/quote]

This is the address to the 7-11 at Osborne (according to goolge maps)

11348 Sunburst Street
Sylmar, CA 91342-7343
210 fwy get off at Osborne turn towards the mountains and look for the 7-11 on the left. THERE ARE NO GAS STATIONS close by. There is a gas station at sand canyon 26 miles from the 7-11.

i prolly ride part of the sawmill and bail out on the next exit. just want to see what sawmill looks like at night.

aside from the cooler night temperature, i see the night rides as a training ride; get accustomed to the limited visibility and not able to take pictures.... and since i like adventure riding, i may find myself 1 night stuck somewhere without getting spooked by the darkness....

Ill see you guys in Rowher. If you have a waypoint or rough location, that would help. Otherwise Ill head to stage area one and keep my night vision turned up.
