Nice. I like the sounds of this. I am just looking to get through the weekend trip, and then I will look in to replacing the unit entirely. Meanwhile, I will tote a small bottle of baby oil around with me. I'm sure I could find some other camp uses for it as well.

It will be 2 or 3 years old in August (I really don't remember ). Got through NJ winters (ridden a few times per month except maybe last January) without being on a trickle charger and in an unheated garage or shed. The first start attempt of a 30 degree day sure makes me think "this ain't gonna start" but after going through "the process" it started every time. After the first start of those days it starts instantly the rest of the day.

Hello all
Just bought a 990 adventure from 06, 2 days ago.
The bike looks brand new, and I'm very happy so far (but only did a few km in the rain...)
The previous owner had the front lowered quite a lot, and I want to play with it to find a position that swits me more. Can anybody indicate where I can find the torque values for the triple clamps. I searched here a bit and found a comment saying it's 10Nm for the lower clamps screws and 23Nm to the upper, but the guy was not sure. I also read somewhere that these specs are on the manual, but I didn't find it. Is there workshop manual available, or are these on the owners manual and I'm just blind?
Also, to slide them up, any recommendations on how to do it? Just release the screws and move them, right? Or should I take care of something else?
Thanks all
Joao

CPR and head to wind jetting kit

Just picked up a CPR intake and head 2 wind jetting kit, seems straight forward enough, any one got any top tips or things to watch out for?
