Craig as in CJ Designs? If so he's been a little hard to get ahold of lately.

Unless the situation has changed in the last couple of months, we have to get Mitas from Canada and the shipping across the imaginary line can be quite pricey.

Hi there!

Anybody know witch tank's of these two was sort of compatible with the 950se

950supermoto or the 950superduke

And how compatible is this? I can buy a damaged tank for 150$ and could use the xtra 3L

Thanks in advance!

SM tank might work, but requires the SM mounting brackets and an SM seat. The mounting holes should all be there, but the tank has a different shape. It's not just a straight swap. Don't know about the SuperDuke, but suspect something similar.

I can confirm that you will need the SM seat with the SM tank. I had both and cross checked.

A stone did not do that... The grommets on the oil tank bolts and radiator mounts are bad, the oil tank has rolled forward enough for your tire to damage the radiator guard.. That seven pound skid plate hanging from the oil tank caused most of this, very poor design...Its pulling down on the oil tank which in turn rotates it forward...

What he said or:

Have you dropped your forks in the clamps to lower the bike?

or a new Motoz Desert Tractionator in the front with a 90/100 size will do it.

I have a Mitas Army XT644 in the front 100/90/21 and I highly doubt its touching. I did hit a couple of small jumps on my route with a rather full tank...

Awesome. didn't even think of that… will be great if that's all it is. I have the CPR set-up so I'll pull the tank next weekend and take a look. Should be easy peasy fix if that's all it is… and cheap too!

Thanks to dogsslober too... You guys rock.

Yes, CJ Designs. He's around, albeit busy getting his new shop in order. Email or call him. He or his assistant will help you out.

Can't think of a better guy to deal with and support.

I'm pretty darn sure your tire is hitting the guard.
