Axle wrench

I think he is talking about the big wrench (top left) how it has 6 point and 12 point. Basically its a 6 point box wrench and a real shallow 12 point socket.

SE axle nuts are 32mm rear and 27mm front.

(Advenure is 32mm front and rear)

The curved wrench in the pic is the same wrench that KTM shipped with the thumpers. The large end is 32mm and 27mm. The 27 fits both axles on the thumpers and the 32mm is for the steering head nut. The hook can be used (with a profuse amount of swearing and frustration) to adjust the shock preload. The small end is 17mm and 21mm.

yup, what Boatman said… it's a wrench from my 500. I put it in because its the only wrench I had that fit that kit and could take off the front and rear axle nuts. The other end is pretty much worthless. Important to note this kit pictured above is just my under seat kit for everyday running around and back and forth to work. it's not my going deep in the desert or Adv trip kit. I have a large complete roll-up that goes into my CJ designs storage box for the longer rides. I tend to prep for a zombie attack on the long rides… as an example, here's a video on my thumper I've used for the last 3 years on EVERY ride.

Barrett Exhaust...

Anyone running a Barrett exhaust on their SE? If so, share your thoughts.
I'm looking to dump the stockers and someone suggested these.

I had Wings cans on my previous SE. Great fit, finish, sound quality and felt as though a few more ponies were on tap too...
Hmm, I may just pickup another set of wings!

150 Mefo on a 4" wide ADVenture Rim works FINE on SE

150 will fit & work on a Stock 2.5" SE rim BUT its too wide & rounds the tire.

Just my .02 cents

Put a Nylon Locknut on the Bolt.

Can't remember if its 4 or 5mm Threads

The plastic threaded clip is known for breaking / stripping.

It depends on load (rider weight plus baggage) & spring rates:

Try this for starters:

I'm thinking about dabbing some RTV on the threads unless someone has a better idea
Yes it does loosen, and I broke the stock adjustment screw when I added a nylock nut.

So do yourself a favor and run a screw trough the nylock nut you have to add to that adjuster bolt before you install it so you don't have to torque the bolt so much.

Slip-ons / Mufflers on your Super Enduro?

It's been discussed many times for a broad range of bikes, but I'm only interested in experiences w/cans on your 950 SE.
What are you using..likes, dis-likes, cost, etc.?
Who's retro-fitted cans normally seen on other bikes?
