Velox rim tape?

Back on topic before Creeper changes his picture AGAIN!

Have any of you other bi-cyclists used Velox MTB rim tape on your motorcycle wheels? I have had leaks from rough nipples (servin' ya up!) wearing through the rubber rim strips. We have sworn by Velox for years on our bikes. Anybody use it on their moto? Why? Why not?

Good god, it's about time.

As for the fit, it works with some slight dremeling. had to make the 4 holes on the bottom kinda egg-shaped to get it to line up on the top hole, but after that it fit ok.

Dirtbro called me last night from Moab. The lucky bastard rode over with Arethustra to ride slick rock for the next 4 days. He had the gall to call me from the Moab Brewery to rub it in.

We better see a ride report when they get back!

They (part number 58303005244) appear to be about $50.

Ok pics. This is the plate Loaded now has, on my bike.

I was hoping for a little better coverage, but there were no photos of one on a bike before I bought it. Was a bit of an impulse purchase really.
