Great RR, we head up there next weekend (4wheels though). I do have a question, how did you guys cross the Quinn River when going from Trego to Black Rock Springs? The last time we crossed over the original Immigrant Trail from Trego to BR Springs, we had to cross the Quinn. Pretty muddy/scary crossing.

So for your 30th, a trip around the world sounds in order...OK maybe just to South America. The Kids should old enough to ride their own bikes by then.

Happy 15th + 10. Silver I think.

Mark.

Thanks Jack. After we hopped the railroad tracks at Trego we headed northeast toward the Immigrant Trail coming from Rabbit Hole---until we ran into some of that wet Playa mud (now I know that it was the Quinn River) at that point we did a big u-turn and headed back toward Trego/Gerlach. When the ground toughened up, we rode straight across toward the Black Rock and met up with the other trail that was coming from the west, which took us right to the BR hot spring.

Great ride report . Happy Anniversary ! You are very photogenic . Awesome Pics. Sounds like your a good sport too , taking one for the team .

I need to get my wife out there . Love the hot springs out there , lots of them where no ones around . Some the size of swimming pools and some just like hot tubs . Some great fishing out there too .
