Zumo 550 mount suggestions/pics

Hey all,

I did go through the thread dedicated to GPSs on the F800, but would love to see more mounting options for my newly acquired Zumo. I have seen the TT mount, the ball mount that affixes to the handlebar and there was one inmate who did the ball mount on the Desierto windscreen frame. (I do have a Desierto) Any other options or advice as to what you prefer and why? If your preference is one that I have listed, your opinion as to why you feel that to be the best choice would be great too.

Thanks!

I have a 450 and mounted it in the center of the handle bars with the ball facing forward so it is nice and low since I'm running a 650 screen for summer (low). It blocks the tach a bit but I don't ring it out often and if I do I damn sure need to be watching where I'm going rather than looking at the tach. Reason for mounting like this? Because it didn't require any additional $$. I'd love to have a TT locking mount but am not about to spend that kind of money plus have to add a crossbar.

Just installed a TT crossbar, so I'll be using it for the Zumo 550.

It's not cheap but the Wundelich Multipod system has got it sorted IMHO.
