Not sure if any of you have seen this report from memorial weekend. It was my first attempt. I would like to do one of my upcoming continental divide ride. Feedback is welcome. I think

Good stuff,
Feedback.. More scenery. Maps, video's, special effects, menacing background music..Skanky ho's, drugs, rock and roll... ![]() On the other hand, what happens on the road mostly stays on the road, right?

Thanks Graham
I've got my work cut out for me. I appreciate the guys who do the really good reports that little one took me over an hour. I can't imagine how long it takes for a cannonshot report. |

Had a blast out on some dirt this afternoon. The bike does way better than it should, but I really need to get some protection (and 50/50 tires).

Just old dirt/abandon roads. Are you around Ohio? Pike APV area is very Tenere friendly. Richland Furnace is doable if you're alright with endless little jumps. Perry APV would be very difficult. Clear Fork would be a challenge, but manageable; $5. Hidden springs is similar but can get boggy; $10.

Did the first 200 miles of the north-south stretch of the TWVT today on my bone stock S10 (with the factory street tires, with 8000 miles on them). Probably would have benefited from dual sport tires and a skid plate, but we survived without!
I've never used so much ABS and TC in my life, but the bike just friggin works. While the majority of it was paved, or easy gravel/dirt, there were at least half a dozen section where street tires had no business, let alone worn out street tires under a 600 pound piggy. Somehow never went down though! Oh yeah, and I had camping gear on the back too! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Action shots to come later. |
