That's not what she told me. She said her mean father made her and her brother come the
the States, work hard, send all their money home so their father could buy motorcycle farkles.

Looking at your bike I tend to believe her.

How could you do that to such a beautiful young lady??? I told her that if I was her father she
could at least keep half of what she earned.

That's what we are doing in poor countries: have lot of kids and send them to work in rich countries
And don't show more pictures of you and very young ladies or you could be in trouble (I’m jealous)

Yeah is much more fun, but we are planning a very long trip with some paved road as well and all the luggage… if I had the GSA no doubt: the DRZ, but having this gorgeous ST….. I would like to try it there.

Inside joke. One time my wife accused me of going on rides only to meet other women.
I had just returned from a 2 week street ride that averaged 660 miles a day. I asked her
how I could ever have the time riding like that. I just got "The look". So now I always try
to get a cute girl photo just to keep her wondering.

Irony is my wife is very attractive. I'm the one who should worry.

Maybe on a Tenere would kinda get the thread hijack back....

I've been in CO all week

Did some two up off road on the Tenere, wife didn't like is so I rode most of the passes on my DR650 instead.

Tenere at Animas Forks. Tried to go up Engineer to Cinamon but my wife was hysterical by the time we got to the turn up on cinnamon.

I did ride up Ophir Pass alone then Old Lime Rd.

Old Lime Rd

We also rode into Utah for a few days. Moab to Arches National park, did some hiking there.

The rode the Moki at Valley of the Gods.

Valley of the Gods road

Climbing the Moki

DR650 riding included

Black Bear pass, which I found to nor be too hard.

Imogene Pass

Engineer Pass

And cinnamon which we had a somewhat heated exchange with a group of four wheeler riders who didn't like us passing them headed up. Needless to say at the pass I totally skipped a picture at the sign.

Done in CO packing up and heading to the Grand Canyon in the morning for another adventure.

Yea really they were pretty over the top in my opinion. Said it was not safe for us to be passing. My thought was hey your on the land barge I'm the one at danger if it all goes wrong which it was not going to. Skill verses no skill it will intimidate every time. Thats really what it was all about. Inmean come on I was on a DR with MS jetting it has like 10 hp up there lol my whole game at that elevation is momentum. Needless to say we out numbered the 4 wheeler crowd at the top when 3 ktm riders suddenly sided with us

Spent the weekend in north-central West Virginia. I'll do a ride report later, but here are some Tenere pictures:

Sunk to the axles:

And the other Tenere rider:

Short summary; the Tenere and I 'clicked' all weekend, and together we shocked the hell out of the other riders I think. On twisty pavement; 0 chicken strips left front or rear on the K60's. Dirt and gravel, in TC2 we friggin rocked! What a blast! Controlled ABS sliding into corners, power sliding out of corners, wheelying off hills, and jumping anything jumpable. In the end... the crap I could do on this bike made me feel like superman; it was amazing.
