Those Germans... Amazing. Of course I guess I should expect nothing less from the folks who invented the concept of standard "Roadside Assistance"...

The tank is no wider than stock; all the extra volume is in the shoulders and ridge.

Looking good... Thats a bottle holder on the right ? Texas heat is crazy...

Looking good. Keep going and you will have one of the great looking black bikes. That gives pluric something to bitch about.

I like the way the big tank turned out.

Mine is no longer "The Beast"
That title undoubtedly belongs to yours.
Somehow that thing must end up with Penske/Ohlins and a 21" front.
Then you must go stretch the envelope of where a Tenere can go.

You're crazy man. :)

I have the same bottle holder in the same place. The size holds a 20 ounce bottle and by punching a hole in the top you can insert a straw. Cut the top of the straw on a diagonal and keep the open side forward to pressurize the bottle or your leg will wear whatever was in the bottle as the liquid siphons up through the straw. btdt

Source was Walmart for something like $4.97 in the bicycle department. Mine's held in place with 2 hose clamps sitting on black tape to keep from scratching the bar.

If you put it on the left, the radiator exhaust warms the water, which sucks for Gatorade or water during warm weather.
