I didn't take it that way. i understood that you were making a general statement regarding HDR photos.

I don't have a non-HDR rendering close at hand, but here's another shot (non-HDR) that was taken at the same location (different position) within a few minutes of the previous posting. As you'll see the clouds had a very unusual look to them that day, as did the light. I had to shoot during the occasional break in the clouds.

Thanks. I like it. Different colors certainly. Not as saturated and due to the background being further away a totally different effect with the depth of field. I think I would have taken it differently - but that's the beauty of photos. Not two are completely alike and different people take and like different shots.

eemsreno i looked around the historic part of town for an hour or so and rode on. When the wife and I retire I plan to take her to some of the places i've been and go at a much slower pace. Her idea is a four wheel drive truck with a camper in the bed. That sounds good to me just need to get retired.

I lived on Caye Caulker 79-80.
Wasn't a tourist area then. Just a fisherman's coop island.
I was the crazy gringo that actually worked! Fished all day for room n board.
