For such a large looking bike Pluric's legs look pretty cramped.

My friend just bought one. He sent me a text to come take it. Have not made it
over to his house yet. Afraid I might be tempted to cross over to the dark side. Another friend
put a deposit on the 1190 KTM. Looks like I'm in for multiple ass kickings.

It does look like that. Didn't feel cramped. Just sitting on it I quite liked the seating position.

We were on a group ride that day. met at the BMW/Triumph dealer. Had to have them turn the
force field off to get the Tenere in the parking lot. We did some bike swapping. I got a long ride
on a GS 800 and the Triumph 800XC.

A friend is going to buy the KTM 1190, he tried and he say is incredible...
Other who is very BMW fan tried the new GS and didn’t like it…

And after my trip to Morocco I’m really confused… Next year I want to do a solo trip and I realize the ST is too heavy for me if I am alone… I fell in love with this:

Yup, me too. My friend who ordered the 1190 is in Chile right now on business.
Sent me a photo of what he rented for the day to look around some.
Called all excited saying we have to go there to explore. All he really said
about the bike was it was way nicer than any KLR. Still forbidden fruit
in the US. Damn it.

Wow, Jaumev! How cool you've got a Montesa Cota trials bike... And from back when they were really truly a "Montesa" and not a "Honda"!

First motorcycle shop I worked in (back in 1970) was primarily a British bike (Triumph, BSA, Norton, etc.) repair shop, but also sold both Bridgestone and Montesa motorcycles. I've always loved Montesa's!

Yes!!

I had my first Cota when I was 14th. Then I ride trial most of my life, always with Cotas, I was a factory rider in the Spanish trials championship, did some trials in the world championship, the Scottish Six Days Trial... so they send me a new bike every year, I think I had all the Cota’s… good times…
Unfortunatelly after some golden years, Spain lost all its motorcycle factories: Montesa, Bultaco, Ossa... last month Derbi close his factory... a pity…
Now I have three Montesas in my garage:

Cota 330:

A prototype: Cota 200 but with 223cc engine

Impala 175 Sport

You will enjoy this bike!!
I've never owned one. Seems like I consider one every time I buy a new bike but never commit.

Sallydog update.

He came by my house today to say hi. Riding out of New Jersey with his wonder dog.
It's quite a sight to see his rig pull up and the dogs head sticking out of the travel box.
Gave me the giggles.

and the grand kid working on her wheelie skills.....

I was torn between bikes. Test rode the new GS, the new triumph, the 2013 MTS and finally bought a raven s10.
