I wish you hadn't asked. I can't afford one of them.

I do both! You should see the gun room. Even though the bike is filthy in that picture.

I work for a motorcycle dealership, so staying organized so I can get the work done faster is kinda a big deal. I HATE looking for something when I'm trying to do a job. Laziness breeds organization and efficiency

PS, dropping a wrench or laying down a painted part on carpet is WAY nicer.
Oh I wrenched on my own heavy equipment, so time and money were essential, its just that when I was done I was in such a Damn hurry to get back on site I just tossed stuff wherever.

And well I have no excuses now since I sold most of it

I am, just a slob

Wicked new owner soon!

Will be getting a 2014 hopefully within the next few weeks myself, I can't wait! But have a few questions to ask. I have read this thread complete about a month or so ago, but I did not save a lot of the posts that are relevant, but the few posts I did see about the ECU flashing of the '14 seemed to not be answered, is the issues resolved now or is it even possible? I seen there was one inmate that did the flashing in the thread, but don't recall there name. Still have not narrowed down a few farkles as of yet, although will likely go with AltRider crash bars and bash plate protection. Panniers, I won't waste my money on the Yamaha factory ones as I can get Jesse/Givi/etc for a little bit more AND have more capacity, plus they look better. So the QOTD is, where to start on my new toy? Thanks!

There are, to the best of my knowledge, only 4 people who do the flash, Off the Road in Germany, Pasini Racing (I think) who are affiliataed to Yamaha in Italy, ECU Unleashed based in the US and our old friend "avc8130", an inmate on this forum.
I am unaware of anyone of these that have even looked at the 14 regarding flashing yet and this may be because it doesen't need it. From what inmates have said on this forum so far who have them it would appear to be the case.

I can flash 14s. Hasn't been much demand so I guess the mapping must be pretty good stock. Or the rock the 14 owners live under is pretty darn big.

OK, so I guess the easiest thing to do then maybe when I get it is to check for the power restrictions in 1-3 gear? Any other thing to verify? Just can not recall what exactly you can do to the ECU, but when it is flashed, can you set a default mode, like S mode if you want? I will definitely give you the service if it can be done, will have more questions on this but will take it to PM when the time comes, thanks!
