XR 1200 or Storz dirt track sportster?

I was checking out the Storz site because they have some cool stuff for the XR 1200. Just curious as to what everyone thinks is the cooler bike, the XR 1200 fitted with all the Storz stuff or the dirt
track conversion for a sportster?

I'd get an XR1200X and make it my own

I have a vision in my head of an XR1200 done up to look like an XLCR with black paint, cafe fairing and gold H-D badge on the tank, and some tasty Storz and Ohlins bits installed for the Bling factor. Boy do I need to hit the lottery, I like way too many bikes.

So, your criteria for purchasing a new bike is dependent on what others think is cool?

Just sayin'

I'm pretty sure the original Storz XR replica bikes weigh 100 lbs or so less than the new Harley XRs, so that would be the deciding factor for me. The Storz bike is probably the only Harley that I ever actually lusted after.

+1 It's sticking out there. The Storz stuff is cool. So, essentially they leave the engine and frame alone and all else is new? What's the cost? $10K?

Isn't there another company that does the dirt/flat tracker conversion for the 1200 Sporty?
