Laugh I Spotted You In Arizona

On another forum, I've seen this get a lot of traction. People get a chance to post up if they saw another (possible) member out around town.

Post up if you saw another ADVer out on the road, or think you did. Leave time, location, description, or any other interesting details.

To start, I'll relay a funny thing that happened on the 101 northbound today around McDowell or Thomas at about noon.

The wife and I were heading over to GoAZ on the GSA, we're rolling up the HOV lane, as I'm coming past some Subaru or something on my right, joker is hanging his middle finger out the window, just as I'm thinking "What's this fker's problem?" he switches to a thumbs up and is laughing and smiling. Clearly an ADVer giving me the ADV salute. I wave then flip him back the salute.

So, I spotted someone from these parts on the road today. Who?

Maybe it was just some dood that was butthurt that he wasn't on his motorcycle/able to utilize the HOV lane, and he expressed his jealousy/sense of humor about it...

Hopped on my 990 ADV this last Saturday for the first time in almost 2 months. The ribs are doing better but the Scapula is still giving me fits,.... anyway.

I'm out riding the east valley near Warner and Power Road and come up behind a guy on a KTM 690 (maybe) might have been a 530 or a 525 or a 640 or a 505 but definitely a KTM. I was on my black 990 in my Klim Jacket. I headed south on the 202 and he headed north!

It was nice getting back on the bike even if I could only ride for about 60 miles.

Doubt it. It was Sunday, the HIV lane is open to everyone, in a come-one--come-all, mad-capped, free-for-all orgy of lane usage. And the "dood" was having too much fun throwing birds and waving at the muddy beast.

Who was it? I know it was someone in this room. Speak up or I'm gonna have to assume it was everyone.

ADV spotted in Sun City

Spotted ST1300 (I think) on 99th Ave on Sunday. We talked briefly about you heading up the coast to Vancouver.....then light changed.

Was off-road camping last week and saw three riders south of Capitol Reef NP - 2-KTM's and a Yamaha Looks like 2 had CA plates. Was at Cedar Mesa campground off the Noton- Burr Trail. Was driving the Tundra with pop-up camper .

Awesome area- was Jones'en hard for my bike and now planning on going back.
