Shasta was pretty dusty, but I think KyoXR was referring to the Paradise Ridge Riders one near Forest Ranch.

My first test with my Drift helmet camera:

I got no pics, but the RidgeRider's New Years Day poker run went as well as can be expected,we expected maybe 60 riders, didnt really advertize it much this year,we ended up with 136 people total,120 that rode including 16 kids. A coupla guys had to make a run to town for more food as people kept pouring in.

Then a guy tipped over and dislocated his shoulder and had to be taken to Enloe, then a guy had a heart attack out on the trail and the ambulance showed up and saved his life right in the driveway with shock paddles
Then the Helicopter showed up finally and whisked him away. Hes doing ok and is home now Im pretty sure.

But other then all that it went pretty smooth,as a club were getting better at putting on functions and feeding people, etc.
It was dusty but not much to be done about that,I mean there's been a forest fire going up above Cohassett..........in January?

RidgeRider meeting this coming Thu Night at Chico Honda 6:00

Nice video, the Drift camera seems to work pretty good, there's some gnarly spots...

Sorry to hear about the misfortunes of those other 2 guys but sounds like you all had a great time. Very nice,

Yeah, batteries, Ive had my share of issues with them this past year. I'll get that KTM sorted out. I just need to get it done so my confidence in it will build. That's something only seat time will do.

Fires in January in Calif, it's like fire season never really ended this year. Sad but you can't control what the weather does.

With video of that quality, I think I'll just sell my bike and watch youtube videos instead. Easy to feel like I was there, and a bit disconcerting when the sun was directly on the lens!

Looked like fun.

New Years Poker Run............... Sorry guys for the slow replie , just been very busy. All in all it was a great day but with twice the riders we expected myself and most of the Club members were working non stop. I was on sign in duty about 10:30 am. when I finished with that we had our first injury, one guy had a slow speed tip over and dislocated his shoulder. Myself and another club member loaded him up and drove him down to Enloe. By the time I got back from that the ambulance and the Enloe Flight Care helicopter were there for the the guy who had the heart attack, very touch and go for a while. He's back home now doing fine. After that just busy with helping out anyone who needed anything, never even had a chance to get my camera out of truck much less ride. I did see some video one rider made but can't seem to find it. Anyway from what I've heard so far everyone except 2 had a great day.
Thanks Bob

My DR just got a battery, then the 1250 Bandit went click so it got a battery, hopefully that's it for batteries for awhile, although the one in the truck is getting old.
Im still kinda hunting around for another dualsport of some sort,I'll know when the right one pops up.

Bob and I did Hwy 36 run last weekend was a good ride road was a little wet about 1/2 through.

I tired posting the pic but it seems it does not like the link to Dropbox

Did you (or anyone else) go out 36? If so how was the road after the Saturday rain? I wish it would rain some more but since it is not going to for a while might as well take advantage. They are predicting Redding to be in the upper 70's on Wednesday and I plan to take the day off an get a nice pavement ride in. Probably make a 36-299 loop via Hwy 3 or FS1. Also open to other ideas if anyone else wants to join me.
