So , you are forgiven. and no marks against the wife.
Has the swollen head receded since the last outing on the Trials Bike?

I think you need a 300 KTM,you would enjoy the local singletrack. Ive got all of 18.5 hours on the new one and its a blast!
08 or newer are the good ones.

Brad, Matt...

Trip to Oregon is out. It's going to be probably June before I can put on a regular shoe. Got a walking cast today for the next 4 weeks, off of the crutches but after that I'll have a walking boot for awhile, probably 4 weeks. Doc advised against the trip and I know it's the right thing, just needed his validation to get past the denial. Sorry guys.

Yep, don't worry there will be plenty of summer left over. We don't need a rally to find a reason to ride up there now do we!

Trials out'in

Here is where we camped. Started setting sections for the next
www.sactopits.org Trials event. April 26th and 27th. Let me know if your interested in coming and or helping. I need "Checkers" for the 26th. Easy job {non paying} lunch and water provided. You will be the official at one of the section and is easy to learn and do. maybe a five minute lesson.

This is a crazy good place to spend the day. we camped out and enjoyed the Blood Moon.

This is my son and his bed for the night.

Rattle snake for dinner. Turkeys, coyotes, pigs, just to name a few. I had a hard time getting my son focused on the work at hand.

More info to come.

It is absolutly awful. Jeremy had to keep waiting for me last weekend: he was getting real frustrated and I think he even yelled at me in his helmet numerous times. I was worried he would abandon me or kick myself and the damn POS KTM off of the sidehill overlooking Elk Creek.

Absolutly love it, when my wife is away I park it in the house so I can be next to it's awsomeness at all times!

Hey is there any rally you are NOT attending this year? I haven't signed up for anything but went to Pillsbury last year and am a bit iffy on going this time.

I havent signed up for any rallys, the only one I usually go to is Rio Nido,Id like to go to the Mendo Rally but it would be a last minute deal as usual. I know ALL the good backroads going to Rio Nido.

Foot dragger, Adj: {1} one who rode flat track. {2} one who is ambiguous and procrastinates.

As for Hop-Sing, he is signed up for the Mendo ralley. I am not sure of my departure time, or route. Thursday afternoon, maybe a bit late. riding a big bike slowly.

Its not so much procrastinating as just putting things off till the very last minute and even longer sometimes.

Leg is healed and ready to ride!

Howdy fellow enthusiasts!
Well, my leg healed from the fracture when I hit black ice in January en route to Covelo from Chico on FH 11 and my Husky get's out of the shop with new accesories tomorrow...I can not wait! Who's up for a DS ride on Saturday? I think it's time for us to all get on the road and have some fun! Any takers? I live in Chico and you can call or text me at two zero six, four seven three, one two eight three.

I was thinking about riding up to Lassen park tomorrow (Sat) because of the free park day but the only information I can find on what roads are open has been last updated April 2 ,which says the road is open up to the visitors center, I don't really want to go all the way up there just to make it to the visitors center, I wanted to drive up further into the park.
can anyone find any more recent information on how far up the roads have been cleared?
