I'll be on a red 09 klr 650

Rode with Lucasleader last year up to High Lakes. It got a little rough.
I hope Special Ed has off road tires. There may be mud.

Hey thanks!

That High Lakes ride was a workout. I think this ride will be mellow compared to that. You should throw some dual sport tires on that Tiger Bob. Spring is coming and I definitely plan on getting out more.

Hmmmm...I'm thinking this might not be the best ride to get my toes wet with dual sporting with a big bike and 80/20 tires.

I'll most likely bow out this time...I think I would be a boat anchor for the group.

Next time for sure!!

Parked on the Cohasset Heli-pad approx 8 miles up Cohasset Rd from the pavement

scenery along the way

Broken front brake line on my Tiger after hitting mud and ice, good thing I have 2, crimped it off and kept riding

photo op

Stopped at the Deer Creek bridge

upstream of Deer Creek

Downstream Deer Creek

along the way

Ahhhhh....the snow

Thats it! we got to turn around, DANG IT!

nice little creek scene on the way back

Finally made it back home, man was I beat!

Bob, thanks for the pictures. Gives me a better understanding of the terrain. How far passed Deer Creek before you ran into snow? I have a GPS track that I want to go try following Cohasset rd up to Hiway 36.

Thanks Bob for posying...

Got home yesterday and found my internet is still down. When I get that corrected and can figure out how to download pics from my smart phone I'll get them to you. It was a pleasure meeting and riding with you.
Lusas, a pleasure riding with you again. I had a blast and as we discussed it was a much needed break from the realities of everyday life. I look forward to future rides with you two and connecting again to finish this ride. I don't like unfinished business.
Had a great time, a-shame the snow turned us around.

Well we were pretty far passed Deer Creek, maybe 10 miles before the snow. Dont know for sure. If you asked Lucas or Brian(redog1) they might have marked the snow on their gps for reference.

Totally kick ass ride boys! Got to finish that one!

Looks like a GREAT ride!

Crap...I should have went. I was psyched out with visions of single track paths. The Tiger's tires look like my tires. I think I could have made it :P

I'm all in for the next ride!!

Thumbs down tires

There was a lot of talk about tires. Ask Bob, and that's all I'll say

LOL!!!!!!! Yes there was a lot of talk about tires. I have a broken front brake line because of my poor choice of tires for this ride!

SpecialED

If you are going dualsporting, it would behoove you to get a good set of dualsport tires. Dont be a cheap skate like me. I've been trying to wear out these Pilot Roads for ever so I can get good tires. I have been down a few times because of the "tire issue". Plus I cant go as fast as I want to because of a "little confidence issue" due to lack of traction.

Thanks for bearing with me you guys, it was definately EPIC!
