we have been talking about doing this very thing at work for the last several months. It's a cheap way to get a very nice tow rig.

Love this project, been working on a van style(picture two Ford van bodies, from the rear doors back welded together) cargo trailer of my own I bought a couple years ago, making a camper I can tow with my 88 Full size Bronco.

Dream on building a large school bus with a drop rear wall, just can't afford it yet.

Looking forward to seeing this to completion, I think I understand where you're going, and it should be really cool, good luck.

Too late. I already have the image in my head of some guy in the campsite next to me working on his bus.

That things going to turn out cool. Just for the fuck of it I looked on craigslist for busses and this turns up in Reno. 4x4 bus, 3100 OBO

Would make a cool toyhauler, backroads rig.

I have one of these that I made out of iron, for a 2" hitch, if your looking for one. Truly Ghetto and way over built.

I'm hoping you don't put the GS on that carrier!!!!????

The options are endless if you look in the right places. That thing looks pretty gnarly.

My work had a van almost exactly like that with a Chevy chassis and a 350 I think. We gave it to a vendor for a $300 "donation". He is going to make a hauler/party/sleeper van out of it for his jeeping and dune buggy outings.

Nope, back when I had a blazer and a ktm i made a 2 place hauler for the trailer hitch out of iron....but prob could hold a gs or two. Prob best for a large truck/van with a square reciever if anyone has the need for such a setup--send me a pm.

I think ive seen a hauler like that one on hoosick st....pretty sweet setup.

Speaking of the gs, it took me to some pretty nice parts of green, albany and schoarie county today
