That's the only thing they have on their website. It shows that Season 1 episodes can be watched online, and that Season 2 is coming soon...

Season 2 has already come and went and it was a lot worse than the first season.

A year later.

Last year the trip to the Quarry run was the ride that overworked the transmission leading to last winters project.

This year I decided to take a different route and get the big hill out of the way all at once.

Anyone familiar with the Catskill region would know how long the hill on RT23 from Cairo to Windam is.
About halfway up the temp warning light came on and luckily there was a pulloff in the perfect spot to give er a little rest.

After about 10 minutes of idling I continued on with no problem.

Here's a view from Pilot knob overlooking the Hudson Valley.

I may have to do something to add some coolant capasity and perhaps move the transmission cooler to another location ,allowing more air flow to the radiator.
As of right now there is no heater core in the rear so adding one might help too.
This is the first time the engine temp has been a problem and that hill was the longest pull I've ever done pulling the camper.
The ambient temp was above 90 degrees also.

On another note I had the whole combination weighed at a truckstop earlier that day.

Total weight.

24,780 lbs
Load
Basicly all gear needed for camping.
2/3 tank of fresh water( 50-75 gallons)
Empty holding tanks (100 gallons total)
One dirt bike (can hold 4 total)
I figure the max I would ever load into it might be around 2,000 additional lbs.
Damn, that's alot to ask of a 5.9 cummins but it's been doing pretty damn good so far.

Pic taken from RT30 somewhere in the Catskills.

You should post a pic of the trailer with your Diesel Dodge king cab pick up on the trailer to show people the size of that thing.
I swear it looked like a Toyota Tacoma hooked up to that monster.

Well I meant hooked to that 5th wheel.
I guess you can look at pic, then the one with the Ghetto sled hooked to the trailer and get an idea how big that thing is.

Kind of surprised you didn't collect any power lines or such, that's really tall on that trailer. Seeing it again reminded me.

It was still just under the height of a semi trailer, but damn, it was tall.

It's been fun for sure, and I'm quite happy with it's performance as it sit's but I'm also looking forward to getting back to work after the Camping/riding season ends.
I can't wait to see how that 8.3 performs.

I saw this while camping near Lake George and for the first time wasn't overcome with truck lust.
Nice truck though.
