Bacon, the Around the world ADVrider mascot looks like it is finally leaving Europe and heading to Canada
![]() He will be heading to the west side of Canada in about 1 month I think. check out this thread, (its real long, jump to the end if you want to see when he's coming) http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=287919 I am just a follower, but it would be great if we could give him a ride across Canada on the TCAT (west to east), then maybe around some stuff on the East maritime of Canada, then down the Trans Eastern Trail in USA. I want to give him a ride if he makes it to PA.

Too pretty - you're not going to ride that and get it all muddy, are you?
Hey, you should have got Ted to put water mark graduations on the side as he was painting it.

The gold rims look cool...
Looks good, kinda reminds me of my project bike, the gold rims really add to the bling factor... ![]() Tomorrow she goes for her first extended ride... We're headed across to the Island to see what level winter is at... Some of the routes now have 5-6 Meters of snow, should of converted the bike to a ski/track config... I'll post up tomorrow if we find anything interesting....

Snow
![]() This road is about 20 KM south of Woss ![]() The elevation is about 650' and the snow depth is a show stopper ![]() A tough time to get the machines turned around... ![]() Paul giving it... ![]() Today was a day of retreats, after 3 different routes were snowed in.. We eventually found a snow free option that lead to this, not cool, they are supposed to leave the road passable before they quit for the weekend... The Island sections will likely not be passable for another couple of months, 3-6 meters of snow in the higher sections still... f

I wouldn't call it a bust, actually it was a most enjoyable ride for our first one of the year, and we even manged to log 300KM... The snow and the unknown track conditions added more to the sense of Adventure... It was nice to get out and see the sun for a change, kinda like a bear out of hibernation...
I've been experimenting with a couple of helmet cams so I'll see if I can throw a bit of entertaining {hopefully} video together...

Some Video
Here's a bit of Video I made up, the lowest that we were stopped by snow was 650' Elevation and the highest we made it on a sun exposed track was about 1400'....
Edit: Kinda a bummer as the low speed spill at around the 5 minute mark in the video resulted in a broken foot and some spoiled ride plans...
