Well done on being the first to finish the complete route!
Well almost, they missed Vancouver Island tracks. So we will see who is first to do the WHOLE route.

Just rode to Aberage31 staying here tonight as it is raining. Anyone ridding through the area around 'Fab's Hilk' take care whilst not difficult therw are plenty of washouts to catch the inattentive.

I think the Kiwis ended their trip in Vancouver after riding 95% of the route, I suggested to the couple from Saltspring that bought their bikes to ride the last leg for the Kiwis .. I believe Tatters is the first to do the whole route from Eastern N.F. to Western V.I....

Nearly on the home straight now. Did Aberage31 to Baie-Comeau in one long day. Will start to leave the Boreal Forest behind as I hit the Taiga.

Know where are the guys from WI?

Ferry to Newfoundland

Should I bother booking the Ferry to Newfoundland? Or do bikes get priority like they do on the BC Ferries?

No need to book for a bike from Blanc Sablon to NFLD. The ferry from NFLD to the Nova Scotia, different story and will require a reservation.

I concur there is no need to book the ferry from Labrador to The Rock but from the Rock to Sydney will require a reservation. Tatters and I found the queue for the ferry from The Rock to Labrador was an ideal spot to meet people and get a place to spend the night.

We will put together our thoughts on route difficulties (particularly in BC and on VI), distance covered, ideal bike size, ease of camping etc etc within the next couple of days. Having followed the same routine practically every day for 2 months means that waking at a time other than 0730, to break camp, is proving difficult and so catching up on sleep is taking its time. That said not being rained on is a little easier to get used to

Can I say thanks to every one who was involved in the compilation of this route. You have done a fantastic job and produced something that generations of adventure motorcyclists will be able to enjoy and also see some great parts of a wonderful country. Does everyone feel sufficiently sick now?

For those of you that are interested I have included the link to my attempt at blogging the trip.
