Its a little known fact that KTM's and Landrovers were designed by the same engineers

I always hear how easy KTM's are to work on. And it's a good thing because you always are! Same deal with Rovers.

You don't have to enter every category. I'll give you until the end of this week (Friday June 10 Midnight EDT) to submit your entries via PM to me here on ADVrider.

I'll go sort out the polls for the Video and Ride Reports now... And put the whole shebang up on one single Poll Page on the weekend.

This gives us 9 prizes for these categories. I've taken the liberty of appointing Thumpididump the winner of the Get Well Soon award since he's still in hospital getting over his bronchitis and infection.
Sneak Preview edition of the Poll is now UP! Check it out - especially if you've submitted photos, I don't want to forget any...

640 Adv oil change?

Is a piece of cake compared to a 950/990 Adventure! What's so hard about a 640? I mean there are 2 filters, 3 drain plugs, 4 copper washers but you can GET to everything easily. Just drop the bash plate and away you go. Well there is the fill/bleed process but that's really no big deal.

No it's not a big deal really...... just a PITA. Well worth the price of admission though. I LOVE my paint shaker!

Hey all!!

Wondering if you guys could point me to the page talking about the route north of Superior. I'm kinda broke this year, but itching to get out and away from people. I'm happy to donate some cash early if i can get some route advice. Planning on visiting my family in Detroit, then heading north across the Mackinaw. Any advice appreciated. Can't wait to do this one east to west!

Nope, it's all done at home. But I do have to admit to having a professional helping me.

The floor actually has a grey industrial epoxy applied to it. So, when you see the "light" staining that's on it, consider it has a chemicaly resistant coating on it and then see how it's still dirty. ;) And you should see it now that I sprayed bedliner on a rack in there. My poor floor!

Enjoy...
