Not sure what direction you are going after you leave Greenwood Furnace..if heading east the is the Bald Eagle SF if heading south you could take turkey hill road to allensville road that brings you out on 655... now sure from there.

That's the plan for the morning of Day 5, then down to Licking Creek near Mt. Union.

That looks great. I should have taken notes about views, food, etc when I rode the first 2.5 days :(. Guess I need to re-ride it

When you think your done (it looks like you must be riding it already?), I will convert it to a .gpx and replace the current day 4 in my my zipped route file (that is open to public download). Then Rob adds it to the complete TET file.
I can also add all your notes to the doc that is in the Zip file.

Everyone who will ride this route thanks you and everyone else who is helping put this section together.

Guys,

I have a cabin near elk mountain. I've hit parts of the o&w from hancock to the Lakewood and have ridden the d&h out of forest city. Not totally legal, but we have found some 1/2 decent trails off the main trails. I'd love to hit some more trails across the state "legally"

I have ridden them all, but not from one end to the other yet to judge time?
I've got to do some bike maintenance soon. so any volunteers?
Towpro: Link the Day 4 Map to the first post so others can see it, and we can take suggestions.

I need to make it "read only" first, but I think you might need to read your PM first :)

Here is a picture of it the new Day 4 route.
EDIT....: I realized I missed a loop.
The part I missed is in Purple. The darker brown link in Tothrock allows you to cut 40 miles off the route if you need to.
On the Left lower corner of the screen is a lighter brown loop that is optional (I think this road was closed recently?)

Wow we have 146.16 miles or 5.37 Hours. Add 1 hour for Lunch, and 1.5 hours for fuel, pictures and goofing off and your looking at 8 hours.
I hear he even put in an optional hero section (not show, but will be in .gpx file when it is added to my master zip file.)

I guess the next step is for Wiggus to test ride it :)
Once he tells me it's ready, I will add it to the original zip file and add all the notes to the document.

It sounds like you been riding were I leave off in Poyntelle PA at the Bar.

There is a mound near the cross over and signs saying "No ATV's"
When I went around it I found a gate closeing off the trail near Agway in Pleasent Mount PA.

That was as far in that direction I went. I headed north and north west looking for more trails but found very few.

I too would love to ride trails but something a bit closer to where I am.
200 miles to get to a trail is a bit far for me.
( from where I am to exit 158 on I-80.)

We need a volunteer to run the Day 4 route. I've got to tear the Tiger down so I can't do it. The "Hero" section is coming up out of Poe Paddy State Park, and it's not too bad but a little tricky on the big bikes. When you can get in close on the map dirt roads are brown, paved are blue, optional sections are violet and hero sections are red. How about madmaximum or rockinrog run this for us?

I'd be happy to do it. I may have a day free this week, depends on how work goes.. if not I can definitely do it on Sunday.

Edit - I just took a look at the map a second time! Sorry, that's a long haul for me to make in a day. I've got a 4 hour ride just to get to the start of it! Looked closer at first glance..

Cool...maybe TowPro can get you a .gpx file if you have a GPS.

Check my post, I had to edit it after taking a good hard look at the map!

I've got a 4 hour ride out there, then 4-5 hours riding and 4 hours back. I can do it if and only if I have 2 days to spare and can turn it into a weekend trip, which I'd love to do.. but I don't know if I can do it this week.

I just did the PA sections of the TWVT last week and it was a great ride so I'm happy to help out on a TPAT .. unfortunately I spoke too soon on this one.

No worries...that's a haul. There's plenty of lowlifes around here to ride Day 4. You may be a big hel when Day 5 is up and running though!

I'm subscribed to this thread so if any route testers are needed a little closer to Jersey, I'm all over it.

I'm available (Edit: ) August 21-22 (Sat and Sun) if anyone wants to ride it. I'd be coming up from Burlington, NJ--perhaps van to a spot, offload, ride until dark, camp, ride the remainder and back to the van.

If it's not ridden by then, I can. I don't know what "hero" means for this ride, but I'm willing to do them.

If you think it'll be done by then, lemme know please. I might just see if J. Splash is up for a day'o fun.
