660 Offroad?

i've been searching this forum and the net for weeks and i am still not sure if the 660 is a good unit for offroad riding. i am replacing a GPSMAP60CS which still works but is slowly becoming unreliable. i like the bigger screen and shopping/gas search functions of the 660. i was waiting to see what the new 62 would look like, but i need to order a 660 soon if i want to have it by august as they are back ordered here in japan.

I have used mine on both my KTM 990 and 690. Have been all over Mexico back roads and the Colorado Rockies trails and I just can't seem to tear it up Works well for me.
