Last time I spoke to him he had test driven an RT and said it was a heavy bike. That was before I bought my 494 lb R1200R

That is all I know.

Not as cold here as you folks, we have 16. Its probably below zero there.

I don't miss the cold there a bit.

Could be. Chruchill's black dog and other vagaries have bitten my ass pretty good in this life time so far. I'm gonna ease the clutch out for now.

We got snow and cold, cold happening over this way at the moment. I've got new skis to play with so life ain't so bad with more winter to come. Lining up several rides, mods, etc in the meantime though for next season.

Man, I haven't skied in years. Maybe that's what I should do sometime this winter: Go rent some crappy equipment and slide down a hill on my feet for an afternoon.

Downhill skiing does sound good though, perhaps next season. These are skate skis.... burning the uphills for the downhills.

What's it something like every 8 lbs less weight is equal to a one hp gain? I'm aiming for two and half extra ponies this season -- per bike! And for the biomotor every 6 lbs lost is supposed to raise HDL one point. I'm going for three.

That's eerily similar to how I downhill ski!

I use medical machinery to suck all that shit out of me several times a week...works great - I'm lighter then I was in high school!

There's a clinic in Watertown I go to three times a week. It's a four hour run and the hardest part is amusing yourself for four hours while strapped to a chair. If you eat right and follow the doctors orders to the letter...it's fine. Oh, there are certainly downsides - it ain't free - but it beats the hell out of the alternative!
I can think of a lot worse things to be saddled with.
