PDH to Kremmling suggestions

    Hi All,
    going to meet up with some friends at Heart Lake next weekend (the one N of Glenwood Spgs) and want to inaugurate my (almost) new WR250R. Leaving Fri the 9th.
    I will take the river road from Kremmling through Burns to Dotsero and then up Coffee Cup Rd. but how to get from Boulder to Kremmling avoiding Slab and Touries (and construction in RMNP). On the way back it'll be Sunday so I don't want to end up in traffic jams either.
    Is there a reasonably fast route to Kremmling using as little slab as possible? Thought about Stove Prairie to 14 to Gould to Rand and down to 40 but that's still a lot of asphalt...
